What is Kepta?
Kepta is an always-on legal function for companies without in-house legal teams. It connects legal work in one system, handles repeatable work through software and brings in lawyers where judgment matters.
Is Kepta a law firm?
Kepta is a technology-driven legal-services company, not a bar-regulated law firm; our platform does the work and our lawyers review and sign off. Software in front. Lawyers behind. The delivery model is written into the Terms of Service.
Is Kepta legal software?
Kepta includes software, but it is not software you are left to operate alone. Kepta runs the workflows, records the work and provides accountable legal escalation.
Is Kepta just an AI chatbot?
No. A chatbot can answer a question. Kepta connects the question to the relevant agreements, context, workflow, decision and next action.
Starting and buying
Can I start with one contract?
Yes. Start with the contract or issue in front of you. The result can become the first part of your company's Register.
Do I need to buy a subscription?
No. You can start with fixed-scope work. A plan is for companies that want legal work to remain under watch between matters.
How are prices set?
Standard services have public fixed prices. If work does not fit a standard line, Kepta defines the scope and gives one written price before work starts.
What do I agree to before work starts?
A written scope and one price. Kepta confirms both before any work begins, and nothing starts until you accept them.
How work is delivered
Will a lawyer review my work?
Kepta uses software for repeatable work and routes legal judgment to the appropriate review or escalation path. You see the relevant human-accountability model before work starts.
What happens when a matter is complex or outside scope?
Kepta tells you before work begins. The next step, scope, responsible party and commercial terms are made clear rather than discovered halfway through delivery.
Can sales use Kepta without creating legal risk?
Where Kepta's guardrails are live and configured for your company, sales can move inside approved boundaries. Exceptions are routed to the responsible person.
Does Kepta replace our existing outside counsel?
Kepta can operate the work that usually sits between requests and provide a connected legal record. Keep any specialist relationship that is right for your business.
Data and trust
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Kepta does not use customer data to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve AI models. The commitment is written into the Terms of Service and the DPA.
Where is our data stored?
kepta.legal is self-hosted on Grasperly Sp. z o.o.'s own infrastructure. The current sub-processors, their regions and data-processing terms are published in full, and the whole picture is on Security & data.
Can we export our data?
Your documents, history and legal record remain yours. On termination Kepta returns or deletes Customer Data within 30 days, at your choice; the exact terms are in the Terms of Service and the DPA.
What happens if Kepta makes a mistake?
Kepta's delivery and responsibility model, including liability, is written into the Terms of Service, not hidden in marketing copy. Read it before you start.
